Most importantly Fawn celebrates each new puppy class!
Fawn was San Francisco Sirius® Puppy Training's instructor for 14 years working exclussively with puppies and their people. In that time she worked as a trainer in the Behavior and Training Department at the SFSPCA where she helped develop numerous shelter programs including treatment programs and evaluation guidelines. After graduating with honors from the San Francisco SPCA Dog Training Academy in 2000, she went on to teach clicker training and obedience training progressions to academy students. In addition, she taught the unit on puppy class instruction for 7 years to academy students. In 1999, she created the first structured puppy daycare in the country, emphasizing the importance of early socialization, in home management and basic training for puppies. A member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers since 1995, Fawn continues her studies in the area of dog (and people) learning and behavior. |
In a letter to San Francisco Veterinarians, Dr. Ian Dunbar, founder of Sirius® Puppy Training wrote “ […], without a doubt Fawn is the most experienced and the most talented puppy trainer in San Francisco. She is a natural teacher — utterly conscientious, creative, fast-paced, funny and extremely engaging. When you entrust your puppy clients to Fawn, you may rest assured that they are going to receive the very best education.”
