PUPPY TWEENS:  "In between a puppy and a teenager!"

For puppies 5 to 8 months. Our program includes the basics: sit,
down, stay, come, drop it, leave it, gentle, and more. We also teach
leash manners and when possible, lots of off-leash play time. The
primary goal of our puppy tween classes is to produce happily
compliant, well-mannered, easily handled adult dogs. In a group setting, you and your puppy will learn
basic obedience and manners, proper play with other pups and people,
and early prevention of behavior problems.

SmartyPup! Praise

Yelp Review 2010

Yelp Review 3/9/2010 *****

Fawn is first and foremost an expert on training humans; a good human
raises a great dog.
She is my first, go-to, highly recommended,
trainer. I don't know that I could have gotten through this puppy
without her.

"It is essential to understand and train dogs-as-dogs. They should be taught to respect people-as-people, and learn that people are always in control. It is possible to effectively establish control over a dog psychologically through trust and respect using intellect instead of intimidation."
